Mariachi Voz de Pasion is a passionate mariachi group based in Texas, blending traditional sounds with a modern twist. Hailing from Austin, TX, with strong Mexican roots, Los Kurados is Texas’ ultimate party ska band. These talented musicians mix punk rhythms and cumbia-inspired vibes, spiced with ska upstrokes that pay homage to Jamaican traditions. Money Chicha is an Austin-based group featuring members of the Latin orchestra Grupo Fantasma and Brownout. They perform a percussion-heavy style of music inspired by the sounds of Peru and Colombia in the 60’s and 70’s. This style of music, sometimes called “Chicha” music, is known for its infectious Latin beat, surf guitar pyrotechnics, and melodies influenced by the indigenous culture of the Andes mountains.

A 9-piece outfit formed sixteen years ago by members of Grammy Award-winning Latin revival orchestra Grupo Fantasma, Brownout has evolved into a musical force all its own. After garnering three Austin Music Awards, the band has continued to produce music that is unflinchingly progressive, while evoking the classic influences of artists such as WAR, Cymande and Funkadelic.

Volcán Indie Orquesta Latina is a San Antonio–born, all-original Latin indie orchestra that blends traditional cumbia and Latin sounds with modern indie, rock, and funk influences. The band brings together a rotating cast of talented musicians to breathe new life into Latin music for contemporary audiences. They’ve established themselves through vibrant live shows, cultural impact, and a commitment to authenticity.

Superfónicos has been stirring up the Colombian Funk, Cumbia and Afro-beat since late 2016. Though based in Austin, Texas, most of the members have deep roots in Colombia. Their music not only highlights the country’s Caribbean coastal sounds, but also the celebration of the human spirit, the stories of the displaced, and the reminder to let go and embrace an experience that is more connected to the earth and their ancestors.

Chicoselfie brings a fresh energy to the music scene with an exhiliterating fusion of Latin music and indie pop. Drawing from the rich cultural landscapes of Mexico and Argentina, Chocoselfie has been making waves with standout performances at top venues in Austin. Piñata Protest is an accordion powered Tex-Mex punk rock band from San Antonio, TX. Piñata Protest combines the lively sounds and traditional rhythms of the Mexican button accordion with the upbeat tempos and attitude of punk rock to produce a unique and wildly eclectic mix of aggressive yet melodic songs that are sung in both Spanish and English.

Raquiqui is a proud Tejana who is highly skilled in both digital controllers and turntables. Raquiqui is part of her favorite DJ collectives—Chulita Vinyl Club, Queer Vinyl Collective, and HOT Moon—where she spins records at some of the hottest venues like Austin Motel, Antone’s Nightclub, and Cheer Up Charlie’s. With Raquiqui’s mixes, you’re guaranteed to dance the night away.

Joining DJ Raquiqui, La Güira de ATX (Laura Olvera Ahmed) is a güirista, vinyl DJ, and record collector based in Austin. For 7 years she’s brought the joy of Cumbia y más to crowds across San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Austin. Inspired by her grandmother’s music, she now performs with Las Chicas en 512 and is the founder of Cumbia Bajo La Luna, a community cumbia dance takeover.
