Sunset Rides Return at COTA
Cruise COTA’s famed stars and stripes in a stress-free environment without the worry of city traffic while admiring fantastic sunset views of COTA’s signature Observation Deck and Austin skyline. After the evening ride concludes, cyclists can replenish and recharge with an ice-cold drink, mouth-watering refreshments and great conversations and camaraderie with fellow riders. Get in the spirit and start planning your outfits for the upcoming Bike Night themed rides!
Please note: Bike Night will not occur on select Tuesday nights due to NASCAR, MotoGP and other track activity. Dates and times are subject to change.

Observation Deck Access
Take a pit stop and see The Circuit and Downtown Austin from 251 feet in the air! After you ascend to the top of the Tower Observation Deck, you’ll have a moment to catch your breath as the sun sets.
Theme Nights
Get out your costumes, purchase a limited-edition Bike Night themed shirt, enjoy an all-new curated playlist and other surprises that await. Check the calendar above and prepare for the next themed ride!
Healthy Food Options
Grab-and-go healthy food items including wraps, chicken salad snack platters and vegetable/fruit cups will be available for sale for participants before and after their ride.
Bike Night Merchandise
We’ll be debuting an all-new array of signature Bike Night merch items. You’ll be able to ride in style with new shirts, kits and more. New merchandise items will be added throughout the season.
Tailgate Games
Corn hole, giant connect four, sponsor activations and other surprises await in our new post-ride celebration area. This makes it the perfect place to hang out and socialize with other riders post-ride.
Rider Rules
Stay to the right if you’re a slower rider while others pass on the left.
Always check your shoulders — especially when re-entering the track.
Signal when merging or changing lanes to pass.
Adhere to guidance and the requests of track marshals.
Respect fellow riders.
FAQs
We hit the track on from 5:30PM until dusk each Bike Night. After dark, the fun continues with a tailgate. Bring your folding chairs!

Riders should register online prior to the event here. Adult registration costs $15 online and $18 on-site. Children under 11 can register for $8. Season passes which guarantee multiple rides are available for $170. Online registration for the event closes at 5PM on Tuesday.
Wearing a helmet is highly encouraged, and all riders must sign a waiver at check-in. Riders age 18 and younger are required to wear a helmet.
If you bought a a season pass, just sign the waiver and you’re all set. You will automatically be registered for the rest of the season. Show up and check-in to get your wristband. Then, you’re all ready to ride!
Bikes will not be available to rent at Bike Night. Please bring your own to ride the track.
We recommend bringing your own water bottle or hydration pack to stay refreshed. We will have water bottles available for purchase. In addition, there will be a water checkpoint at Turn 9.
COTA is a cashless venue. COTA accepts Discover®, MasterCard®, and VISA®.
Class 1, pedal assist bicycles are permitted for use during Bike Night. We do not allow Class 2 or Class 3 electric bicycles. Any bicycle with a motorized throttle is prohibited during Bike Night. Additionally, skateboards, electric skateboards, scooters, electric scooters, roller blades, and electric uni-cycles are not allowed.
Operating hours and openings may be impacted by weather conditions. Riding in wet conditions is not permitted. Temperatures above 95 or below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, high winds, rain, or extreme heat warnings issued by the national weather service may limit operations.
