Perfect your driving technique on the world-famous Circuit of The Americas’ racetrack. Climb the Turn 1 hill, weave your way through the esses, whip around the Turn 11 hairpin, and achieve your maximum speed across the back straight. The course is located at 9201 Circuit of The Americas Blvd, Austin, TX 78617.
Guests will be driving either an M2, M3 or M4 on the track. If there is a specific model guests would like to drive, the Driving Experience staff will make their best efforts to accommodate.
For your safety, you must drive one of our BMW M-performance vehicles. Our BMW vehicles have undergone hours of tests to ensure that they are up-to-date with all inspections and safety protocol.
All guests must be 25 years or older with a valid driver’s license to participate in our driving program.
Each event will have two groups with around 13 participants each.
Guests will have approximately 1.5 hours of driving time during their experience.
In the event of adverse weather conditions that make the driver experience unsafe, COTA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the activity. In such cases, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
When participating in an on-track driving experience, it’s important to prioritize safety and comfort. Here are some recommendations:
- Helmet: COTA will provide homologated helmets available in all sizes.
- Closed-toe shoes: Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes with a good grip. Racing shoes or athletic shoes with thin soles are ideal for better pedal feel and control.
- Long pants: It’s advisable to wear long pants.
- Comfortable clothing: Choose comfortable, moisture-wicking clothing to stay cool and focused during the experience. Opt for breathable, lightweight materials.
- Sunglasses: During hot summer days, protect your eyes from the sun and glare with sunglasses.
Participants may receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the scheduled driving experience.
Cancellations made within 59 and 31 days before the scheduled date will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled event.
Guests are welcome and a fee of $100 will be charged per head count.
