Environmental Policy

I. Intent

Circuit of The Americas LLC (“COTA”) presents this Environmental Policy, which outlines COTA’s commitment to environmental responsibility and acknowledges that a sustainable environment is essential to our operations.

This policy establishes COTA’s approach to:

• Taking accountability for environmental outcomes and regularly reviewing progress.
• Tracking progress and improvements over time.
• Sharing environmental efforts both within the organization and with external stakeholders.

II. Scope

This policy provides guidelines for sustainable practices at COTA. It applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and suppliers, Oversight and evaluation of environmental efforts fall under the responsibility of the Sustainability Team.

III. Policy

COTA recognizes our connection to the environment and the impact our activities can have on it. COTA is committed to reducing negative impact and promoting sustainability through the following actions:

• Establishing goals to improve our environmental footprint and regularly tracking progress to drive ongoing improvements.
• Reviewing and updating our environmental commitments and targets annually.
• Enhancing data collection from internal teams as well as from vendors, partners, and attendees to improve reporting accuracy.
• Applying our sustainable purchasing guidelines and encouraging suppliers to meet high environmental standards, including embedding these expectations in contracts where applicable.
• Embracing a pollution prevention mindset and striving for continuous environmental performance enhancement.
• Supporting the local community and ensuring it benefits from our presence and events.
• Minimizing environmental impacts from resource use across race operations, such as energy, water, materials, waste, transportation, and emissions.
• Fully complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
• Reporting environmental performance as appropriate.

Progress, metrics and resources tied to these goals will be documented and managed through our Environmental Management System. COTA commits to continual improvement by systematically reviewing environmental objectives and enhancing performance through data, evaluation, and corrective action.
