Germania Insurance Amphitheater Announces New Bag & Lawn Policies for Upcoming Concert Season
AUSTIN, TX (Monday, March 2) – Circuit of The Americas (COTA) continues to expand on its vision to create a world-class experiential sports, hospitality, and entertainment district with fun at every turn. COTA is proud to announce safety enhancements ahead of the 2020 concert season at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. These improvements will include a new clear bag policy for all concerts and updated seating guidelines for the H-E-B Lawn. The new policies will expedite entry and improve venue safety, making it easier than ever for fans to get lost in the music.
According to the new policies, all bags entering the facility must be clear unless they are smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”. Bags cannot exceed 12” x 12” x 6”. Additionally, lawn chairs and blankets exceeding 30”x 60” will not be permitted.
“The Germania Insurance Amphitheater is the premier outdoor music venue in Central Texas, and we want everyone who attends a concert to have an unforgettable experience,” said COTA chief operations officer Rick Abbott. “These policies are intended to create a fun, safe environment for all of our guests.”
The 2020 concert series cranks up on March 14 with alternative dance superstars RÜFÜS DU SOL. Fans arriving early will receive a free clear tote bag courtesy of Germania Insurance while supplies last and bags will be available for purchase at amphitheater shows throughout the season.
