Seminar on ‘Green Racing’ Kicks off International Sportscar Weekend

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 5, 2013) – On Thursday, Sept. 19, Circuit of The Americas kicks off the International SportsCar Weekend with a much-anticipated panel of experts in automotive technology and green racing. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Circuit’s exclusive Velocity Lounge, fans can learn about the development of the Green Racing Protocols used by the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón and the FIA World Endurance Championship. Other topics of discussion will include the technology that powers vehicles such as the dominant diesel-electric hybrid Audi R18 e-tron quattro that recently won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Toyota TS030 hybrid, or the revolutionary Deltawing that uses half as much fuel as its competitors.
