Prior to competing in the V8 Supercars Austin 400 event this weekend at Circuit of The Americas™, several top drivers in Australia’s premier racing series shared their impressions of both the City of Austin and their expectations of what it will feel like to race on the new American track.
Fabian Coulthard, No. 4, Lockwood Racing: “It’s been awesome. We’ve really enjoyed our visit here to Austin. And I have to say, everyone in town has been very hospitable. Of course the rental car has a GPS, but any time we’ve had to locate the nearest ATM machine, or needed to find some place, everyone’s been very helpful. It’s been a massive thrill, getting to come here to Austin and drive this brand new track.”
