Circuit Collecting Donations for Victims of Texas Storms, Plant Explosion at V8 Supercars Austin 400
Circuit of The Americas has partnered with the American Red Cross of Central Texas to gather donations for those affected by the recent tornadoes and severe weather in North Texas, as well as families still struggling after the West, Texas, fertilizer plant explosion that happened last month. Guests attending this weekend’s V8 Supercars Austin 400 event (May 17-19) can make cash contributions via American Red Cross Disaster Relief Canisters that will be stationed at concession stands around the venue.
The Circuit will continue collections for the American Red Cross at concerts scheduled through May 31, including the upcoming Dave Matthews Band performance on May 21. All monies collected will be forwarded to the American Red Cross for its Disaster Relief Fund, which funds relief efforts for disaster victims around the Lone Star State. Circuit of The Americas is helping the collection drive with a company donation of $5,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
