The Lights at Night are Big and Bright: A Guide to Peppermint Parkway
2023 marks Peppermint Parkway’s fourth year, and this year it’s sweetened by Texas Capital. Get ready to spend the holidays at Circuit of The Americas with this magical experience fit for the whole family. Starting November 24 and select nights until December 30, join track holiday mascots Pepper and Mint in celebrating with millions of lights, warm drinks, and jolly Saint Nick himself.
The Parkway
Roll down the windows and cruise through over six million lights along the drive-thru portion of Peppermint Parkway, featuring your favorite holiday characters and local landmarks shining bright. During your ride, give a big “Hook ‘em” while passing COTA’s homage to the lit UT Tower and famed horned mascot. Meet the gracious sponsors of Peppermint Parkway including a jolly Abominable Snowman at the Valero Fueling Station and Ascension Seton in Ornament Alley.
Tip: let COTA handle the music! Turn your speakers down and jingle-bell-rock to a perfectly curated playlist.
The Track
Cruise on the only permanent, purpose-built Formula 1 track in the United States. If you’ve purchased this ticket add-on, enter the Paddock and follow a lead car for a parade lap at 25 MPH for a night to remember.
The Plaza
Step out of your sweet ride and into a sweeter holiday experience. Peppermint Plaza is full of walk-thru light displays, family-friendly amusement rides, and new treats. Bundle up for the perfect holiday card pics at the new Mistletoe Kissing Booth or 30-foot Twinkle Tree, or head to the top of the COTA Candy Cane, the 251-foot Observation Tower behind the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.
NEW! Petting Zoo
New this year, Pepper brings her favorite furry friends to Pepper’s Petting Zoo! Ring in the holidays connecting with cuddly creatures like ponies, rabbits, chickens, goats, and ducks.
Rides
Let out your jolliest ho-ho-ho as you zip around on the classic Texas Wildcat or try the new 3-lane Super Slide or Mini Pirate Ship—perfect for kids. COTA Karting and Kiddie Karting will also remain open throughout the holiday season. Book online for the smoothest ride.
Food & Drink
Don’t let Jack Frost nip your nose – grab a warm drink at bars around the Plaza with themed options for adults and kids to enjoy! Also, give your mouth and tummy a present from any of the local vendors with delicious offerings all season.
