Revival Cycles, an Austin-based custom motorcycle shop, will present a FREE custom motorcycle display and entertainment showcase at its downtown location, 1100 East 5th Street in Austin, during the 2014 Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas. Presented by Moto Guzzi, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer and the oldest European manufacturer in continuous motorcycle production, The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show is a must-attend event for the two-wheeled community.

The impressive showcase features more than 100 custom-designed and hand-built motorcycles of all styles. This event will be heaven for motorcycle fanatics looking to mix the adrenaline-fueled competition of MotoGP racing at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) with an authentic, downtown hangout where they can surround themselves with vintage two-wheeled sculpture, gritty real-world bikes and everything a two-wheel junkie craves.

“We are excited to welcome back the world’s best motorcycle riders to compete at our track this spring and to be working with Revival Cycles on the perfect complement for our MotoGP weekend,” COTA Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Geoff Moore said. “The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show presented by Moto Guzzi is a great place for motorcycle fans to immerse themselves in custom bikes and the kind of down home, authentic food and entertainment for which Austin is famous.”

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show presented by Moto Guzzi will showcase moto-related artwork, music, food, beer, cocktails, music and even death-defying stunts on vintage motorcycles. The event will offer entertainment for all, and best of all, admission is FREE.

COTA, Austin’s world-class racing circuit, is supporting The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show presented by Moto Guzzi as one of its official events during the three-day MotoGP sports and entertainment weekend set for April 11-13. The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show presented by Moto Guzzi will take place April 11 and 12. Hours of operation are posted on the official website,

COTA’s 2014 MotoGP event is only one of two races in the United States this year and features the most awe-inspiring, knee-scraping, nail-biting motorcycle racing in the world. MotoGP is the pinnacle of all motorcycle World Championships, consisting of 19 races in 14 countries on five continents with pan-global television coverage.

The world’s most skilled riders, including current U.S. riders Colin Edwards of Texas, 2006 MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden from Kentucky and reigning World Champion and winner of the 2013 Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas Marc Marquez, compete with cutting-edge, prototype motorcycle technology produced by Ducati, Yamaha and Honda, as well as manufacturers supporting the new Open Class. Besides offering some of the most competitive racing in professional motorsports, MotoGP provides great ways to entertain friends and family.  The COTA campus will feature a lively festival atmosphere with music, rides and games, the famous Ducati Island experience and a great sampling of Austin cuisine.
