Britain’s Scott Redding, now in his fourth Moto2 racing season, nailed down his very first pole position on April 20, leading the 31-rider field at the new Circuit of The Americas™ track with a lap time of 2:10.577. His was the only bike to post a time lower than 2:11.000.
He was also optimistic about bringing home his first win on his No. 45 Kalex for the Marc VDS Racing Team. To date he’s managed four third-place and three second-place finishes, his most recent at the first race of the season in Qatar.
