Circuit of the Americas™ Welcomes One-Millionth Customer to Venue

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) has come to an important milestone in its first full year of operation—welcoming its one-millionth customer to the track just in time for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX.

The lucky ticket buyer is William Snyder of Kempner, Texas. Snyder is a retired soldier currently serving as a helicopter mechanic for the M2 Services Corporation, which supports the 21st Cavalry Brigade (air combat) stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Snyder recently bought four general admission tickets to bring his wife—a native German and huge Formula 1 fan—and some friends to the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX in Austin this weekend. Little did he know that his timely purchase would lead to a much bigger prize!
