Circuit of The Americas, located in Austin, Texas, is the Lone Star State’s new world-class destination for sports, entertainment and business. The Circuit hosts dozens of events each year, including many ticketed events, such as premier motorsports competitions and national touring shows at the Tower Amphitheater, that are open to the public. Additionally, Circuit of The Americas rents its facilities to approved groups and organizations for private events.
Media Access to Public Events
Circuit of The Americas welcomes media coverage of the special events it hosts and partners with event organizers and motorsport sanctioning bodies to provide working journalists on assignment for recognized media outlets with facility access through designated media accreditation processes. Information about media accreditation for Circuit-hosted events can be found online at www.circuitoftheamericas.com/media-center/register.
Media representatives must have appropriate accreditation and sign the required release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement to access and provide coverage of public events at Circuit of The Americas. Media credentials will be issued on an event-by-event basis. At this time, Circuit of The Americas does not offer permanent or a season-long media credentials.
Media Access to Private Events
Media access to private events held at the Circuit will be determined by individual event organizers. Media representatives seeking access to private events held at Circuit of The Americas should first seek permission from the individual event organizer(s), who will then notify Circuit of The Americas Media Relations and Security Teams. Media representatives without permission from private event organizers and/or Circuit of The Americas Media Relations Team will not be granted access to Circuit of The Americas’ property. Media representatives should secure the appropriate permissions before arriving at the Circuit of The Americas venue and must sign and return Circuit of The Americas’ “Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement.” Media representatives that are not pre-approved for entry to private events or that have not signed and returned the Circuit’s “Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement” will not be granted access to Circuit of The Americas’ property.
Circuit of The Americas reserves the right to deny access to its venue and facilities at any time to anyone, including media representatives not authorized to access its private property.
